The world's largest online poker room joins forces with the largest poker community in the Netherlands. GGPoker may call itself from today the main sponsor of the Open Dutch Poker Championship!

A perfect match

An experienced team of poker players with a huge heart for the game launched their own online poker room in 2017 under the name; GGPoker. The slogan 'Always a Good Game' answers the question of what the letters G stand for. In particular, they wanted to make poker fun again and they succeeded. Now, more than 4 years later, GGPoker is the largest online poker room in the world and since October 2021 also legally accessible for Dutch people.

A similar story to that of Mathijs and Evert-Jan when we think back to the founding of the ONK Poker in 2014. Two brothers-in-law whose goal was to make poker accessible to everyone in the Netherlands who enjoys playing the game. An enjoyable gaming experience was (just like with GGPoker) central to this. Thus, ONK Poker quickly became the largest poker community in the Netherlands.

In addition, both parties place enormous value on their community and whenever possible try to help players get better at the game of poker (think of the ONK Poker Summer Camp and the GGPoker Poker School). All in all, a lot of common ground that laid the foundation for the start of a fruitful cooperation.
