GGPoker organizes online satellites for the WSOP Circuit Venlo

Following last year's success, GGPoker and Holland Casino have renewed their partnership for the World Series of Poker Circuit Series Venlo 2023. There are a total of 8 official ring events on the calendar. The showpiece of the series is once again the €1,100 Main Event with €500,000 guaranteed. GGPoker is once again organizing online satellites for the Main Event. These will run every day on the GG platform starting Wednesday, March 23.

After WSOP Circuit Venlo 2022 and WSOP Circuit Rotterdam 2022, this is already the third collaboration between GGPoker and Holland Casino. After hosting WSOP Circuit series in Rotterdam from 2017 to 2019, the addition of Venlo to the calendar proved to be a hit. The Main Event in Venlo attracted 961 entries; more entries than the previous editions combined!

For the previous edition, GGPoker also offered its players the chance to qualify online for the €1,100 Main Event. On top of that, as an extra promotion, it organized a $1,000 Last Longer for all players who qualified through GGPoker or registered directly. 80 players eventually managed to secure a seat for the WSOPc Venlo via GGPoker. Manuel Jansma then won the Last Longer with his 7th place finish in the Main Event (€21,957).

3-Day WSOPc Venlo Main Event

The Main Event kicks off on Wednesday, May 10, with Day 1A, the first of two starting days. Day 1B will follow on Thursday, May 11. On Friday, May 12, the remaining players merge and play continues to a final table. On Saturday, May 13, the final 9 players will return and a winner will be crowned. 

Qualify for the Main Event on GGPoker

Leading up to the Main Event, you can play via GGPoker Starting Wednesday, March 23, you can attempt to qualify for Day 1A of the €1,100 Main Event. Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday a €15 step satellite will be played. Through this step satellite you qualify for the weekly €100 satellite. This qualification tournament takes place every Wednesday and guarantees a minimum of 6 tickets to the WSOPc Venlo Main Event.

Terms and Conditions: 

  • Players must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the WSOP Circuit Venlo
  • WSOP Circuit Venlo satellites will be held starting March 23, 2023, and are available to players from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Sweden and Malta.
  • Qualified players are entered for Day 1A of the WSOP Circuit Venlo Main Event, which will be played on May 10, 2023
  • WSOP Circuit Venlo Main Event tickets are strictly non/transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be converted to cash.
  • The first WSOP Circuit Venlo 2023 Main Event ticket a player wins on GGPoker must be used to participate in the target event. For each subsequent ticket, a player will receive tournament dollars worth €1,000.
